2025 Melbourne

The 2025 Floodplain Management Australia (FMA) National Conference was held for the first time in Victoria at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park, Wednesday 14 – Friday 16 May 2025, with optional pre-conference workshops on Tuesday 13 May. 

The theme of the Conference is Flood Knows No Boundaries and highlights that floods can affect any area. It emphasises the importance of collaboration across states, regions, catchments, communities and sectors to effectively address and manage flood risks.

The FMA Conference has been held annually for over 60 years and is the most respected flood risk management event held in Australia.
